Training

Training is very carefully controlled in a friendly, cooperative and non-competitive environment.
The usual martial arts etiquette is practiced as this develops an effective teacher/student bond considered necessary for efficient learning, personal development and understanding the martial way.
Participants train and develop at their own pace and beginners train with advanced students.
Because some throws are employed in training, practice is undertaken on a soft matted surface.

Joining
You are most welcome to view or participate in a training session without obligation. Should you choose to join in a class, it is advisable to wear a tracksuit or some loose clothing. You will be asked to sign an indemnity form before training. Beginner students are asked to watch one training session before participating in order to gain a better understanding of the techniques and class format .
